Spam Policy

Effective Date: September 15, 2026 Last Updated: September 15, 2026

Flatbed Connections, LLC — USDOT 2287255  / MC 779231 — is committed to responsible communication with drivers, owner-operators, shippers, brokers, carriers, vendors, and visitors to our website. We do not send unsolicited commercial messages, and we do not tolerate their use by anyone acting on our behalf.

This policy explains what we send, how we obtain permission, how you stop hearing from us, and how to report a message that appears to come from us but does not.

1. Scope

This policy applies to all commercial and recruiting communications sent by Flatbed Connections, LLC, its employees, its recruiters, and any agency, vendor, or affiliate acting on our behalf, across every channel we use:

  • Email — marketing, carrier and shipper solicitation, driver recruiting, newsletters

  • SMS and text messaging — driver recruiting, application status, load and dispatch alerts

  • Telephone and voicemail — including prerecorded and autodialed calls

  • Fax — including rate confirmations, load tenders, and any advertising content

  • Web forms and chat on the Site

It also applies to the use of our systems, domains, and IP addresses by any third party.

2. What We Do Not Do

We do not, and we do not permit anyone acting for us to:

  • Send commercial email to recipients who have not consented or with whom we have no existing business relationship.

  • Purchase, rent, trade, or "append" email or mobile phone lists from third parties.

  • Harvest or scrape contact data from the FMCSA SAFER system, the Licensing & Insurance database, DOT/MC registration filings, load boards, carrier directories, or public shipper listings for the purpose of unsolicited solicitation. New authority holders are a frequent target of this practice in our industry. We do not participate in it.

  • Use false, forged, or misleading header information, sender names, "From" addresses, reply-to addresses, or domains.

  • Use deceptive subject lines, including messages framed as a load offer, rate confirmation, dispatch notice, insurance notice, compliance deadline, or government correspondence when they are advertising.

  • Spoof a broker, carrier, shipper, factoring company, or government agency.

  • Send commercial messages without a working, no-cost opt-out mechanism.

  • Continue contacting anyone after they have opted out, except as Section 7 allows.

  • Relay commercial messages through third-party servers without authorization.

  • Send unsolicited advertising by fax.

3. How We Obtain Permission

We contact you only where we have a lawful basis to do so. In practice, that means one of the following:

Express consent. You submitted a driver application, carrier packet, quote request, contact form, newsletter signup, or event or job-fair registration; or you checked a box asking to hear from us. We retain a record of the date, time, source, and scope of that consent.

Existing business relationship. You are an active or recent customer, carrier partner, broker, driver, owner-operator, applicant, or vendor, and the message concerns that relationship.

Business-to-business operational contact. We contact a named commercial counterparty about a load, rate, claim, invoice, credential, or compliance matter. These are transactional communications, not marketing.

Consent to one channel is not consent to all channels. Applying for a driving position does not, by itself, enroll you in marketing email. Agreeing to text messages about your application does not authorize promotional texts.

4. Transactional Messages

Some messages are not marketing and are not subject to opt-out, because they are necessary to a transaction or relationship you have with us. These include load tenders and rate confirmations, dispatch and check-call communications, delivery and detention notices, invoices and settlement statements, claims correspondence, safety and compliance notices, DOT drug-and-alcohol program notifications, onboarding and credentialing requests, and messages we are legally required to send.

If you no longer wish to receive these, the underlying business relationship must be ended or amended. Contact us at (770) 607-3356 - option 6.

5. Email Standards

Every marketing email we send will:

  • Identify Flatbed Connections, LLC clearly as the sender in the "From" line.

  • Use an accurate, non-deceptive subject line.

  • State clearly that it is an advertisement where that is not otherwise obvious.

  • Include our valid physical postal address: 231 Old Grassdale Rd NE Cartersville, GA 30121.

  • Include a conspicuous, functioning unsubscribe link.

  • Honor unsubscribe requests within ten (10) business days, and in practice within [72 hours].

  • Keep the unsubscribe mechanism working for at least 30 days after sending.

We authenticate our sending domains with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC, and we monitor complaint and bounce rates. We suppress addresses that hard-bounce or generate spam complaints.

6. SMS and Text Messaging (Drivers and Applicants)

  • Text messaging is how many drivers prefer to hear from a recruiter, so we use it carefully.

  • We text you only after you provide a mobile number and expressly agree to receive texts — on an application, a "text us" keyword, or a checkbox that is never pre-checked.

  • Consent to receive texts is never a condition of employment, of being considered for a driving position, or of any purchase.

  • Our first message identifies Flatbed Connections, LLC, states the program, and discloses that message and data rates may apply and that message frequency varies.

  • Reply STOP to any message to opt out. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact (770) 607-3356.

  • We honor STOP immediately and send at most one confirmation message.

  • We do not send marketing texts using an autodialer or prerecorded voice without prior express written consent.

  • Recruiting text campaigns are sent only from numbers registered and branded to Flatbed Connections, LLC under applicable carrier (10DLC) requirements.

7. Opting Out

You may opt out at any time, free of charge:

What happens next. We add you to our internal suppression and Do-Not-Call lists and retain that record permanently — we keep it specifically so we do not contact you again. Suppression is never deleted as part of a data-deletion request, and the retained record is used for no other purpose.

We will still send you transactional messages described in Section 4 if you have an active business relationship with us, and we may respond to messages you send us.

We maintain an internal Do-Not-Call list and honor the National Do-Not-Call Registry and applicable state registries for telephone solicitation.

8. Recruiters, Agencies, and Vendors

Driver recruiting is frequently outsourced in this industry, and the sender's conduct is our responsibility. Any recruiting agency, marketing vendor, lead provider, or affiliate that sends messages promoting Flatbed Connections, LLC must, by contract:

  • Comply fully with this policy and with all applicable law.

  • Use only data collected with documented consent, and provide proof of that consent on request.

  • Never represent itself as Flatbed Connections, LLC without written authorization.

  • Pass opt-outs back to us promptly and honor our suppression lists.

  • Submit to audit of consent records and campaign content.

We terminate vendors who violate this policy. We do not pay for leads generated by unsolicited messaging, and we do not accept lead sources that cannot document consent.

9. Use of Our Systems and Brand

You may not use our Site, servers, domains, email addresses, or brand to send, relay, or promote unsolicited messages, or to collect addresses for that purpose. Automated scraping of contact information from the Site is prohibited. We reserve the right to block traffic, suspend accounts, and pursue any available legal or technical remedy.

10. Reporting Spam or Impersonation

Freight fraud is common, and our name, USDOT number, MC number, and logo may be misused by third parties — including in fake load offers, fraudulent rate confirmations, double-brokering schemes, and bogus driver job postings.

If you received a message that appears to be from us and you believe it is spam or fraudulent, contact us before acting on it:

  • Phone: (770) 607-3356

Please include the full message with headers, the sending address or phone number, and the date and time received. We investigate every report, take corrective action on anything we sent, and report impersonation to the appropriate carriers and authorities.

Verify any load, payment-instruction change, or carrier-setup request by calling us at a number listed on this Site — not a number contained in the suspect message.

11. Canada and Cross-Border Communications

Where we contact recipients in Canada, we comply with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and PIPEDA. CASL requires express or clearly defined implied consent, sender identification, and a functioning unsubscribe mechanism honored within 10 business days. Implied consent based on an existing business relationship is time-limited under CASL, and we do not rely on it past its expiry. Where our records are ambiguous, we treat the recipient as having given no consent.

Communications with recipients in Mexico are handled in accordance with applicable local law.

12. Compliance and Enforcement

We maintain this policy in accordance with the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003 and its implementing regulations, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and FCC rules, the Telemarketing Sales Rule, the Junk Fax Prevention Act, CASL, and applicable state communications and privacy laws.

Employees who violate this policy are subject to discipline up to and including termination. Vendors and affiliates are subject to immediate termination and may be held liable for resulting penalties.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. The "Last Updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted on this page.
